The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in Thailand developed the Second Plan for the Development of Women with Disabilities (2017–2021) to promote equality, protection, and inclusion for women and girls with disabilities. The plan includes four strategic areas: (1) ensuring access to rights, welfare, and equal opportunities; (2) enhancing health and reproductive healthcare; (3) preventing and protecting against violence, abuse, and exploitation in all forms; and (4) strengthening participation, capacity, and organization among women and girls with disabilities. The plan reflects a comprehensive, rights-based approach to ending violence and discrimination while promoting inclusive development.
